Membership to the Centralville Sportsmen’s Club is open to legal residents of the United States aged 18 years and older.
Applicants must:
1. Possess a LTC or FID card or provide a recent CORI.
2. Be sponsored by a current member who has been in good standing for at least one year, unless waived by the Board. Applicants who do not know a member who can be a sponsor may submit a letter describing interests and background for consideration. Members accepted without a sponsor will be subject to a probationary period.
3. Be accepted at a monthly Board meeting and at a monthly member meeting.
READINGS: Applicants must conduct a “reading” at a Board meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month and at a General Member Meeting on the last Thursday of the month. At each reading the applicants introduce themselves, provide background information, and state why they wish to join the club.
Members readings are conducted at the February, April, June, October, and December meetings.
Annual dues are $135 plus a work assessment fee of $65. The work assessment can be earned back by contributing at least four hours in support of the club at one of our events or maintenance tasks. There is also a one-time $110 initiation fee for new members. Dues are not pro-rated and are for the calendar year from January through December but dues paid in October or December will include membership for the remainder of the current year as well as the following year.
New members must complete an orientation session prior to receiving their keycard.
Completed applications may be turned in by a member, dropped off at the club (There is a mailbox in the foyer outside the main door), or it can be mailed to us at:
